Installing the Video Turnstile Racks
A rack-based system is for installations monitoring many doorways. Each rack holds a Logger module and up to 16 non-logging modules called VTms.

The VT counters are to the left and the VT Logger is in the middle.
- Connect a power supply to the 12 V Power In socket.
- Connect a television monitor to one of the Video Output sockets. This helps you make sure that people are being counted correctly. (You also need to use the VT Setup software to select which video output is being used by which module.)
- Connect the Logger module to the computer. How you do this depends on the type of communications you have: RS232, RS485, Ethernet or modem.
- Create a site with the VT Setup software.
- Connect the CCTV camera to the VT unit.
