The Diagnostic 770 Box is showing Many Different Coloured Blobs
It takes time for the coloured blobs scattered in the yellow grid to blend into the background. The time this is determined by the freeze time. The lower the freeze time the quicker the blobs disappear.
To proceed stop and start the 770 box. Start the analyses once the grid is all yellow and then analyse the transits.
Note: The 770 diagnostic unit displays the counting zone as a 32 x 16 grid of yellow pixels. It shows an area of pixels in a different colour when an object passes through the zone. This blob of pixels illustrates the size of the object in terms of the number of pixels covered. It will show the transition of the object through the zone. This visual is very useful as it helps:
- to detemine any factors that may affect the count,
- displays any interference that may be present and
- helps set up parameter settings.
Any unusual activity affecting the count will be displayed on the pixel grid.
Next: The VTcollect Service stops but Windows Control Panel says it is still running.
