Power Supply Problems
The plug-top power supplies for boxed systems supply 12 VDC 1.25 A.
For rack systems the power module supplies 12 VDC 5 A.
You can check power supplies by:
-
Using a multi-meter
Check the voltage at the 2.1 mm in-line socket output from the power supply. (You can remove the Rack system power supply module to do this check.) -
Swapping Supplies
If you have more than one plugtop supply, try swapping two over. The problem should move with the supply unit. If not you may have a problem with the VT unit itself.
Next: No Counts are Recorded and the Up and Down Lights on the VT Unit Flash Regularly.
