The VTcollect Service stops but Windows Control Panel says it is still running
If the VTcollect service sometimes just stops, but the Windows Service Control Panel says that it is still running, check your version of VTcollect is 7.18 or higher. If not download the latest version from the web site (contact us for the URL, user name and password to do so).
In c:\videoturnstile\setups\ there is a batch file called VTserviceRestart.bat. Use Windows Task Scheduler to run this batch file once per day at a time when you are not normally collecting data. This will stop and restart the service every day.
